AP World History review game — all 9 units, free

9 unit packs · No student logins · 5–30 rounds

EraPin turns AP World review into a deduction game. Students see a historical photo and clues, and reason their way to a pin on the map and a year — using geographic anchors ("where the Andes meet the Pacific, near the equator"), material culture, and technology as evidence. Clues never name the country or city; the reasoning is the game.

All 9 AP World units have dedicated packs — from the Global Tapestry through Globalization — plus topic packs your units draw on: the French Revolution, the Industrial Age, World War I, WWII, the Cold War, and dozens more. ~2,500 events total.

In your classroom

Pick the pack for your current unit and choose the depth: 5 rounds as a warm-up, up to 30 as a full review day. Students join with a room code on any device — no student accounts, no emails — or you project one screen. A live leaderboard runs between rounds.

Because clues reward reasoning over memory, the students who never win recall games get a real shot. A 7th-grade teacher running EraPin daily told us the students who had struggled before started winning rounds — and the geographic reasoning it practices (relative location to an absolute pin) is exactly the move map-based questions ask for.
